ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY WHITE CAT on Panel in OILS by OLGA WAGNER

Oh my, I Love, Love, Love this one... Named this painting after one of my Feral boys..."Fluff"...

I came across his photo on facebook couple of days ago and was thinking about him when I painted this.  He was a very, very sweet boy who passed away in 2010...Wow...Where does the time go?

ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY CAT PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER

I had a very productive weekend in the studio. Was able to finish a larger painting that will be donated to SAFE Haven for Cats, to be auctioned of at their Tuxedo Cat Ball Fundraiser.  In addition, a second painting is currently on the easel and you can see the WIP photos below.

ThisWIP painting has some really great texture on the canvas and is progression quite nicely. I anticipate that it will take me maybe one more sitting to complete it. Sorry for the poor photo quality - Once it's complete, I will take a proper photo :)

I was also in a mood to prime couple more 20x20 canvases...I used heavy texture and some nice layers of acrylic paint. Not sure yet what I will use them for...Maybe some abstracts?

ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY RED AND WHITE CAT PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER

Meet Heartbreaker....This incredibly gorgeous boy is looking for a family through SAFE Haven for Cats (A no-kill shelter located in Raleigh).  Part of the proceeds of this painting will be donated to the Shelter, so that more cats like him can be given a chance for a better life.

I used to have a forever home, but my previous adopter passed away.
