ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY TABBY KITTEN CAT PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER - SOLD
Meet POINSETTIA, a gorgeous tabby (now 3 legged) kitten that will be available for adoption early next year. She is currently under the care of Alley Cats and Angels in Raleigh NC.
Part of the proceeds of this painting will be donated to the above rescue, so that more cats like her can be given a chance for a better life.
"So sweet and loving with the biggest eyes! Pulled from WCAS as a medical case, she was thought to have a broken leg, but it was a deformity with neurological damage. Her leg was amputated on 12/3 and she is doing great!"
Available for adoption in 2016.

Here is another painting of a cat that is available through SAFE Haven for Cats (A no-kill shelter located in Raleigh). I am a total softie when it comes to red and white cats.
Part of the proceeds of this painting will be donated to the Shelter, so that more cats like him can be given a chance for a better life.
"Don’t you love my awesome orange spots? I’m a gorgeous guy, and I don’t really love the company of other cats. I hope you’re a one-cat human being! I showed up in a yard in Raleigh and I’m loving the inside life now. I absolutely love people and can’t wait for you to swing by and play with me. Let’s catch up today."

ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY WHITE CAT PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER - "12 DAYS OF GREY"
The 3rd painting in the "12 Days of Grey" features a white kitty. This painting has a nice and rich texture to it. I would say about 3/4 of the painting was done using a palette knife. There is really nothing better than, with the help of the knife, moving and gliding the buttery paints all over the gessoed board

ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY WHITE CAT PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER - SOLD
Doing pretty good so far...Got to paint every day in November -
Same white cat from two days ago - just a different orientation...Interesting to note is that NO white paint was used to create the body of this "white" cat. Instead, I used Lucas Beige, which is creamy in color and has a very buttery texture.
At the end, I did use a bit of Gamblin Radiant White for the eye reflections and a few whiskers...

SOLD - "Loving Color" Day 2 - ORIGINAL WHITE CAT PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER
Day to of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge organized by Leslie Saeta brings a white kitty cat! I really enjoyed painting this one, after all, I am a cat person :)
For the finishing touches, I used the palette knife to add texture to select locations... I find proper placing of texture can that it can add that "WOW" factor to any painting... If you have never played with texture - YOU SHOULD!
