Headache forced me to pick a subject that I was very comfortable with. Since I have painted this cub before, but in a monochromatic color scheme, he was the perfect choice for last night.
The background did give me a bit of grief. I started with bright gold and reds, but decided that it was a bit much...After various tries, I finally settled on the simple cream color applied with palette knife for texture.
