Here is the 2nd Painting in the Grey series. Panda seemed so perfect for this color scheme. I did take the freedom to use a bit of Ultramarine Blue and Transparent Red to spiff up this little beauty....

"Loving Color" Day 17- ORIGINAL PANDA BEAR PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER
Day 17 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge organized by Leslie Saeta brings yer another Panda closeup.
I don't know what it is about Pandas...I find painting them very relaxing. It's probably the color palette that is very soothing as compared to the colors used on a rooster...

"Loving Color" Day 6 - ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY PANDA BEAR PAINTING in OILS by OLGA WAGNER
Day 6 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge organized by Leslie Saeta brings a cute little Panda Pear on creamy background.
Headache forced me to pick a subject that I was very comfortable with. Since I have painted this cub before, but in a monochromatic color scheme, he was the perfect choice for last night.
The background did give me a bit of grief. I started with bright gold and reds, but decided that it was a bit much...After various tries, I finally settled on the simple cream color applied with palette knife for texture.
