This is my entry to Karin Jurick's year end challenge on Different Strokes From Different Folks site. It is a portrait of another artist who is participating in this challenge. I am happy with the way it came out and hope that this artist approves of it too.

Great entry and such a good likeness, am sure the artist will be happy with your interpretation of her photo. Also LOVE your animal portraits!
What a beautiful portrait! I might even know who this beauty is. Love the way you wrapped the portrait around the edges too. Just wonderful work!
Thank you both!!!
Oh and with the difficulty of a knitted cap; well done with the texture and likenessl.
Beautiful job with the challenge, Olga.
Olga - I am blown away! I've never been "painted" before and had no idea how much it would affect me!
I think the likeness is spot-on - especially my nose!
About the hat - I got it in West Yellowstone several years ago. I call it my friend! My sister hates it which makes it all the more funny to me!
It is my great pleasure that you drew my name, Olga. Thank you for such a sensitive and beautiful touch.
Isn't the entire project amazing - I'm spending hours getting to know everyone. I hope Karin knows how much enjoyment she is bringing to "us"!

Beautiful work on the challenge. The hat alone looks challenging (lol...but cute)!
Good likeness and hat is just perfect.
Great portrait painting Olga! She's going to love it.
Wonderful likeness! Your skin tones are so lively and seem to glow. Love the way you tilted it on the canvas. It gives the face an inviting glance. Very nice!
Olga this is great likeness...the eyes say it all. Well done.
I got so carried away looking at all of the great paintings on your blog, that I almost forgot to comment on your entry for the DSFDF challenge! This is painted beautifully - the skin tones and all of your color choices are fantastic. Wonderful, wonderful work!
