Here is my interpretation of the veggie photograph posted by Karin on her Different Strokes From Different Folks Blog. I had a blast working on the veggies and will try another plate, but this time with some of the corn kernels showing -

Different Strokes Challenge - Pennsylvania

This is my painting for the Different Strokes for Different Folks challenge. Again - I tried painting on a red gessoed board - I love how Karin's paintings come out on the red background - For me the red background is pure hell - My eyes never really adjust to the brightness of the red gessoe.

I LOOOOVE sushi. However, I tend to lean towards the Slice of Fish over Rice kind (Nigiri-Sushi). My taste buds dislike the flavor of seaweed, and since all the rolls have seaweed in them, I tend not to eat them - It's a royal pain to pick out the green stuff.
