Gladys was found in Peoria, IL. in an abandoned back alley in 2006. She was full of hair matts, severely underweight, and it appeared she had been surviving off of paper and gravel. After her rescue to a local shelter, Gladys was very shy and easily startled. Once placed in a home, she spent the majority of her time hiding in cabinets. Gladys now has made amazing progress, spending almost every moment by the side of her owners, Jon and Christy Knutson, day and night. She has a delightful, sweet personality and loves teasing her brother and fellow rescue cat, Cletus Monroe. Cletus an his story will be featured tomorrow!!
