Different Strokes Challenge - Pennsylvania

This is my painting for the Different Strokes for Different Folks challenge. Again - I tried painting on a red gessoed board - I love how Karin's paintings come out on the red background - For me the red background is pure hell - My eyes never really adjust to the brightness of the red gessoe.

Your frustration certainly doesn't appear at all in your beautiful painting. I love your sky and the warmth of the red coming through your landscape. Great job!

That sky has a beautiful glow! I love working on a support which has been pre toned with subdued, mid value, red acrylic.
