January Virtual Sketch Date

"All Peeled" - 6x6 Oil on Canvas Board
Sold
.
This is my first entry to the Virtual Sketch Date Blog. It's a blog where once a month a group of artists come together and draw from a reference image. I almost went with colored pencils for this challenge, but figured that I would get hung up on the small details of the orange. I have been working so hard on loosening up my style, so that is why I decided to stick with oils.

Beautiful oil. I really like your shadow work. I can see the loose style but you cover all the details. Well done!

Dominique - Yes, I am working on my DSFDF challenge. I had a hard time deciding on the composition for it, but I think I finally got it. Now, all I have to do it is paint it...
