DALMATIAN UP CLOSE by OLGA WAGNER

Dalmatian is part of the Non-Sporting Group and has been recognized by the AKC since 1888. Our family has had Dalmatians for close to 30 years. They are gorgeous, fun, and extremely active dogs.

Dreamer

This is an older painting after a new facelift. There is nothing like a nice bright background to make the doggie face pop of the canvas. My mom's dog was the rough model for this one - Since it was not a commission, I did not worry about having to replicate each and every spot.

I used my mother's dog, Oreo, as a reference for this painting...It's not an exact likeness, but since this was not a commissioned portrait, I did not have to worry about having all the spots in the right places. Oreo was rescued from a pound and now lives a life full of love and joy in Rochester NY.

Another fun little dalmatian painting. I have been having a really rough time at work lately (Nortel filed for Chapter 11) and these little paintings help me unwind and de-stress.

I am very fond of Dalmatians...My family has owned Dalmi dogs ever since I was little. This is supposed to be a likeness of my mom's current Dalmatian, Oreo...I am sure the spots are not right -
