Do you ever wander what they dream of? They sure do look peaceful doing it...

The muse for this painting was Roman... A gorgeous gray tuxedo that adopted through Safe Haven for Cats. This boy really lucked out and went to a "dream home" with one of Safe Haven's volunteer.

This boy if one of the young feral cats that live in the woods behind my home. He is next on the list of the being trapped to get neutered and vaccinated.

TUXEDO CAT AND MICE - WIP

Here is an interesting one that I am currently working on... Meet SPIKE... I have painted SPIKE before and will paint him again in the future - he is a tuxedo cat of my own creation...His name, of course, comes from his rather unruly hairdo...

I think I will call this one "things are looking up" ...This one is done in oils.

Come back tomorrow and I should have the final version posted - I am so excited!!

Martin - Handsome Tuxedo Boy

This is another one that I finished before Christmas. This boy lives with his buddy Alex and Artie. Artie's painting is still to be finished. I started it couple of times, but ended wiping it off. Maybe tomorrow will be Artie's lucky day!

Spike - Almost Done...

This painting was inspired by my neighbour's cat, George. He has the most gorgeous, glamour coat in him...I did exaggerate the hairdo a bit- what can I say- I got carried away and by doing so, I created SPIKE...

To finish the boy, I need to work on he background a bit and also need to give him some cool whiskers...
