Hamlet and his siblings are the reason his owner decided to be a veterinarian and why she fell in love with cats.When she was an undergrad at the University of Georgia she worked at a little shoe store. One of her coworkers mentioned, one day, that 3 kittens wandered out of her wood pile and they were all very sick. The coworker was planning on taking them to the shelter the next day.
Something made the owner feel bad for those little kittens and she offered to care for them and find them homes. She nursed them back from horrible upper respiratory infections and malnutrition. The vet told her they most likely would not survive, but thankfully he was wrong! She ended up keeping all three of them and they have been the most wonderful, loving cats. She definitely can't imagine life with out them!
