WHITE STALLION in PALETTE KNIFE

Submission, as most dressage riders can attest, is an important part of the dressage training as well as competitive dressage. This guy looks like he is ready to listen and cooperate. I know..I know...The stallion in my painting is way over bent in the neck - but after all it's just ART!

SUBMISSION
12 x 12 x 1.5 Oil on Stretched Panel
Available $295

Palette knife is such a unique blend of spirit between the artist and the canvas. A fellow artist sent me the link to your blog to specially view this painting.

You certainly have depth in your painting ability in several styles.

Laurie - Thank you very much for your comment...I really appreciate it..I find that palette knives let me be more loose and expressive and sometimes much more fun! In between all the commissions and more realistic paintings it's great to just have FUN and decompress - It's almost like playtime...My friend (http://www.kathy-iverson-horse-designs.com/) pushed me towards painting horses, and I must say _ I am having a blast..
