Dottie, an incredibly cute black and white girl, was adopted from the Orange County Animal Shelter last year in April when she was a tiny kitten. Her and her siblings had been found in a box on the side of the road, just barely 6 weeks old and shivering. They were found by a good Samaritan and brought to the shelter with hope for a brighter future. For Dottie’s adopter it was love at first sight.

Today, Dottie lives a happy and healthy life with her adopted sister, Lyla. Lyla, the grey and white girl, will be featured with her story tomorrow as Cat #2 in the Faces of Rescue: 100 CATS in 100 DAYS project.
