Wow! I am still in shock...In the last few days, several wonderful (truly wonderful) artists nominated me for my first blog award ever. I am extremely honored to receive this award and I highly recommend that you visit their blogs and see their incredible artwork.

The rules of the award are simple. I am to list 7 things that I love and then pass the award along to another 7 passionate painters.

Here I go....
1 - My 4 boys (Nash, Nacho, Jaws and Pugsley) - Yes, they are kitty cats, but they are the center of my universe.
2 - My hubby for loving me and our boys...
3 - Art supplies and shopping for new and exciting products - love trying new colors!
4 - All animals (well, maybe not snakes and other creepy crawlers). I feel lucky that through my talent I can support some of the local animal rescues - I just wish that I could do more!
5 - Tasty food - my latest tasty snack of choice is Squid salad - Yummy...
6 - Good Beer - Ales, Stouts, and anything with good solid body. The other day, I tried Sam Adams Cream Stout - not bad at all...
7 - Days off - Days with nothing on my calendar...These are quite rare - I do cherish them...

Congradulations! You deserve it. I watch your talent grow ito such a wonderful style. Not only are you a wonderful painter but you use you art passionately to help our furry friends. Working on two passions at once can only bring great things!
